This summer, a summer study trip focusing on AI innovation, top university exploration, and cultural experience has successfully concluded!
Sendelta students spent 12 days unlocking cutting-edge tech skills, engaging with top academic institutions, and creating unforgettable growth memories.
Centered on "ChatGPT Innovation", this summer camp offered a "theory + practice" dual-track curriculum, enabling students to advance from "understanding AI" to "applying AI".
Guided by teacher Grant Cohen, students systematically mastered AI fundamentals and ChatGPT’s core functions—from text generation to dialogue system principles—with every step focused on practice.
During the group project phase, each team showcased great creativity,all teams presented their results via PPT, truly achieving "learning by doing".
Yu Xuan’s team focused on health, designing a "calorie tracker + food recommendation" mini-program;
Leo’s team catered to gamers, developing a game strategy assistance tool;
Tony’s team specialized in music, creating an AI for music style analysis and song recommendations.
Finally, each group received a course completion certificate.
The "Business Innovation Course" taught by Steve, a professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business and President of Stanford Research Institute, has broadened the students' horizons.
Students designed business plans based on their ChatGPT projects and delivered roadshows. Professor Steve provided professional guidance on every aspect, including PPT logic, confidence in expression, and product positioning.
At the end of the course, each student received a graduation certificate and a letter of recommendation signed by Professor Steve in person, a valuable asset for their future academic pursuits.
Beyond in-depth learning, students also visited several world-class universities to experience academic atmospheres up close and clarify their college application goals.
At USC, Asian Admissions Officer Julia gave an informative lecture, comprehensively explaining USC’s admission criteria, application process, program offerings, and campus life. She also answered questions on topics like "preparing application materials" and "choosing popular majors".
Later, guided by USC ambassadors, students visited landmarks including the Trojan Statue, the nation’s top-ranked School of Cinematic Arts, the Fisher Museum of Art, the cutting-edge Biological Sciences Center, and the Viterbi School of Engineering, gaining a direct understanding of USC’s academic strength and open campus culture.
At Stanford, students experienced campus life like "prospective Stanford students": dining in student cafeterias, interacting with current students, and visiting landmarks such as Hoover Tower, Stanford Memorial Church, and tech labs.

From the innovative atmosphere of this "cradle of Silicon Valley", students understood why Stanford has nurtured founders of renowned companies like Google, HP, and Nike—the spirit of "encouraging innovation and tolerating mistakes" deeply inspired every student.
As a representative of "Public Ivies", UCB is renowned for its top-tier academic strength and innovative spirit.
Guided by a UCB senior, students embarked on a campus tour. The senior detailed UCB’s flagship majors (chemistry, biology, civil engineering, environmental engineering, etc.), shared "insider tips" on dorm life, cafeteria food, and class sizes.
In addition to learning, students explored the streets of Los Angeles and San Francisco, visited world-famous landmarks, and experienced the diverse culture of California’s West Coast.

Behind this wonderful journey is the careful planning of Sendelta’s College Counseling Team. As an important extension of Sendelta’s international curriculum, this summer camp provided students with a platform to engage with the world, explore their interests, and clarify their academic directions—helping them enrich their personal profiles and prepare for future development.
In the future, may Sendelta students continue to explore the infinite possibilities of AI with the knowledge and passion gained from this trip, and move forward firmly toward their dream universities!
